v-cache?

I am sort of new to this so I wanted to know and compare the v-cache between

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X 16-Core, 32-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

and

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core, 16-Thread Desktop Processor

I am looking for a high end gaming processor. I play al sorts of games at high settings with a  focus WoW. Any help or info would be great tyvm

If your sole use is gaming then the extra cores of the 7950X3D will do you no good, as they will be parked (and thus not in use) during gaming. Save yourself some money and get the 7800X3D.

Now if you also need to use the processor for non-gaming applications that can utilize all 16 cores then the 7950X3D is a viable option.

The X3D processors are proven better gaming performers. If that is your primary use then you can't go wrong with an X3D chip.
