according to your Motherboard's CPU SUPPORT LIST yes it is compatible with that model EXCEPT you must have BIOS version F60 or newer installed for the Motherboard to recognize and boot up your computer with that processor: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B450M-DS3H-rev-1x/support#support-cpu

If you have BIOS version F40 you MUST UPDATE TO F60 BEFORE installing the new processor.

Thank you elstaci. The update of the bios looks a little bit hard for me (i'm not a pro). Do you know a list of any motherboards which could be compatible with the ryzen 7 ? I can buy one.

Today Motherboards updating the BIOS is not that complicated as long as during the time you are updating you don't loose power to the PC.

This Gigabyte Website gives you step by step instructions including a YouTube video on how to update your Mobo BIOS using Q-Flash if you don't want to download the Q-FLASH PDF files from the above link: https://global.aorus.com/blog/How-to-Update-Your-BIOS-Part-2.php

If you are not experience in updating BIOS find a friend or Family member that knows how to do it for you.

It is cheaper than purchasing a new Motherboard and possibly RAM.

NOTE: Talking about RAM if you do upgrade your CPU you need to find out if your current RAM MEMORY is compatible with the new CPU.

If your PC boots up with your current RAM MEMORY and everything work fine then you don't need to upgrade your RAM for the new 5800X Processor.

Otherwise you will need to go to your Mobo QVL LIST FOR RAM FOR THE 5000 SERIES Processor list and pick a new set of RAM MEMORY to install: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B450M-DS3H-rev-1x/support#support-doc
