I have a Ryzen 5 1600x on motherboard gigabyte GA-AB350-Gaming 3 with 2 modules of Kingston ddr4 KHX2400C15D4/8G on dual channel, an update on my structural calculation software needs windows 11 and win11 do not supports Ryzen 1600x, so I need change my processor and Ryzen 5700g looks interesting, but I have some questions:

2x DDR4 Kingston KHX2400C15D4 8GB (2400 Mhz) compatible with  Ryzen 5700g on my MB?

If replacement is necessary, is there a memory compatibility list with the processor? (the list on gigabyte site only includes 3200 modules manufactured after the processor launch)

Replacing memory modules is the last option, because 2 modules ddr4 3200 16gb each cost about a 2/5 of medium salary in Brazil.

What graphics card are you using in your system now? Will you be using the IGP of the 5700G? If not, consider the 5700X or another X series processor instead.

DDR4-2400 modules will work, but obviously faster memory will perform better, especially if used with the IGP of the 5700G.

For some reason my secondary monitor doesn't work on the RX 570 8gb at the same time as the main one (maybe because it's VGA and needs an adapter) so I use a gt210 on this monitor. 5700g would replace the gt210 and I have a proposal for a used processor from a friend at an excellent price.

Just FYI the RX 570 is a Polaris card and the 5700G is based on Vega, both of which are nearing Legacy status. Adrenalin 24.3.1 is currently the last driver version available.

Before installing the new Ryzen 7 5600G make sure you have BIOS version F52H or newer installed so that the new processor will be recognized by the motherboard and boot up.

Downloaded your Motherboard's QVL LIST for RAM MEMORY for the Cezanne processor. Here is the entire list and it doesn't show any RAM slower than 2666mhz: https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/GA-AB350-Gaming-3-rev-1x/support#support-doc

So it is possibly your Kingston RAM may not be fully compatible with your new 5700G processor. I would open a Support ticket with both Kingston and Gigabyte to see if your RAM will work with the 5700G processor or install the new processor with your current RAM and see if it boots up or not. If it doesn't then just install one Ram stick and see if it boots up.

Also after installing the new 5700G do a CLEAR CMOS of your BIOS so it will correctly identify your new processor.

My BIOS is at f53. Before opening the topic I had already seen this table, which raised questions in my mind. From what you told me there is no ready answer, just opening a ticket with a gigabyte. I also saw another AMD compatibility table and it doesn't list older modules. I'll end up buying the 5700g from a friend and first testing the OC for 2666, if the problem is speed, that might solve it, then test with 1 module at a time. If nothing works, I leave the 5700g aside until I get compatible modules.
