How hard is it to find an affordable gaming CPU that doesn't have a history of crashing, BSOD, or randomly restarting in the middle of games..

I did my research and watched benchmark videos to find a good CPU that could give me a major update and last for a good longtime.. I mean like my current machine that is turning 14 years old this year. No I'm not planning to wait that long before upgrading again.. hence going to AM5.. but my CPU was still being sold 5 years after I built my medium computer.  I have Phenom II x4 965 and it is still going.  But, it does have it's limitations. I'm only looking for the same level of reliability in my next processor.  Like I said, I did my research and had decided to get a Ryzen 5 7600X on an ASUS TUF 650M motherboard.  Then I see the countless sites showing that this combination (my choice out of hundreds of possibilities) crashes every few minutes or restarts randomly.. then someone on here said that the 7800X3D is the best one and the internet agrees.. only to find out that it crashes too.  HELP!

I imagine that most, if not all, of the AMD APU crashes are due to the IGPU Graphics driver and not specifically an issue with the processor itself or due to some other installed hardware like incompatible RAM Memory, as an example.

Not saying that you may not end up with a defective AMD processor, which does have a 3 year Warranty on it.

All AMD 7000 Series processors have Integrated Graphics so they will require AMD Graphic drivers to have video output from the Motherboard. But if you install a separate GPU card then that becomes your Motherboard Main Display Adapter and not your AMD IGPU via BIOS SETTINGS automatically.

Go for 7700X if you can, and keep your memory dim clock as default, most systems nowadays crash because memory dims does not work very well at high clocks for example 6000 mhz At least that was my problem with my 7900X and X670E RS PRO. My games was crashing, and sometimes system was restarting too. I found that the problem was the high memory dim clock speed.
