My PC sometimes reboots when switching between windows. This happens both under load and without any load.
In the Event Viewer, the following error is recorded:
A fatal hardware error has occurred.
Reporting component: Processor core
Error source: Machine Check Exception
Error type: Cache Hierarchy Error
Processor APIC ID: 3
The issue started after I upgraded my PC with a new video card and processor (early 2024). At first, this happened after updating the drivers, but reinstalling the drivers completely fixed it. However, now even reinstalling the drivers doesn’t help.
I’ve updated the BIOS, but it didn’t resolve the problem either.
Using MSI Afterburner, I recorded system data during the reboots.
