Legacy StoreMI Issue

I've got myself into a mess trying to uninstall the original Enmotus SoreMI software and would appreciate some help. I was using it on a 2TB HDD and an 256 gb M2 drive - NOT my boot drive. Using StoreMI I separated the drives, confirmed all data was on the HDD and uninstalled StoreMI from Control Panel. However, the driver for the HDD remained as a StoreMI driver, so I updated it with a standard HDD driver. All still looked good. Subsequently, after a reboot, the HDD has disappeared from Explorer, is visible in Disk Manager as an online 0 mb drive, with no drive letter and no options available beyond delete and uninstall, and is visible in Task Manager as a HDD with no letter allocated. The M2 drive is visible as an uninitialised drive. Installing the new version of StoreMI and running it returns an error message saying that the HDD is running under a 3rd party SATA controller and I should change it. Any ideas?

You will need to open a Support Ticket with Enmotus since AMD legacy STOREMI is based on their software.

In fact before AMD switched to the newer STOREMI 2.0 which isn't based on Enmotus program, Enmotus was offering free Tech Support to all AMD STOREMI 1.0 Users during a limited time.

If you'd look on the Enmotus website you will see the following in the support section: "If you received your AMD StoreMI software from AMD, please contact AMD directly for support. "

That is probably in regards to the new version of STOREMI version 2.0 and not the old  version of STOREMI.

AMD's new STOREMI  v.2.0 is not based on Enmotus anymore but the old  version of AMD STOREMI is based on Enmotus software.

So Enmotus is saying that you must go through AMD Support for the new version and not Enmotus Support.

Let Enmotus Support know that you are still using the old  AMD STOREMI version 1.0 and not the new version 2.0.

Like I mentioned before when AMD was phasing out STOREMI v1.0,  Enmotus was offering free Enmotus Support for a limited time to any AMD User.

They will be the best option to help you remove and fix your version of STOREMI issues you are having.

EDIT: I realize I keep sending you back to Enmotus for Support. Is that the first version of STOREMI was created by Enmotus so they can better advise you on what went wrong and how to correct it.

But if you want you can try and open a online AMD SUPPORT Ticket from here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/contact-email-form

See if they can help unless they refer you to Enmotus.
