Hi,

I am having issues with my AMD R7 M265 GPU. I have tried various solutions but couldn't fix my problem completely. Below is some key information taken with help of DirectX Diagnostic (dxdiag)

This Laptop was originally shipped with Windows 8 and it had catalyst software preinstalled for gpu. Problem arose after I updated it to windows 10. I couldnt update the GPU driver at all as my PC would get stuck during installations. I fixed this with help of Problem with R7 M265 when updating the lastest driver on windows 10 with Acer e1-572g althought this a lenovo G510.

Now I am on 18.5.1 radeon software. Whenever I run a game it works on my Intel HD 4600 iGPU rather than dGPU. Although a exception is when I use Tencent Gaming Buddy (It is an official emulator for PUBG Mobile on PC). It has an option in its settings called as "Priotirize Dedicated GPU". If this is checked My AMD GPU is used but its usage is always below 50%. If run the game at max settings it will lag but not use more than 50% GPU (as seen in task manager). Whenever I select any program in "Switchable Graphics" in Radeon settings it adds it but after selecting high performance AMD Gpu it still uses Intel GPU. I seriously want to fix this as it will help increase FPS in games. Any solutions/ suggestions/ or enquiries are welcomed.

Firstly, I have a lenovo G510 laptop.

Secondly, I tried what u said and the issue still persists. I resetted my PC and then Reinstalled the drivers but still same problem occurs.

Did you install the Intel driver first?

Did you disconnect from the internet during the entire time you uninstalled/installed the AMD drivers? Laptop graphics update...How to You should not re-connect the laptop to the internet until the drivers are installed and you have done the final reboot. You do not need to be connected to the internet while installing the AMD drivers that you have already downloaded.

Did you use DDU (disconnected from the internet) ? Clean Install AMD Graphics Drivers

DDU has new instructions..make sure you have the latest version

Did you take the necessary steps to prevent Microsoft from changing/installing different drivers?
