There's a lot of potential for foveated rendering beyond VR/AR by implementing a camera with head+gaze+eye tracking capabilities into all monitors, similar to how Tobii does it, implement it into FSR and FreeSync monitors.
Maybe also implement Sampler Feedback and VRS to FSR.

Imagine having no compromise 4K gaming in the center of the screen for a limited area. And then you get down to 1080P elsewhere to almost no perceptive quality loss even if you are a bystander.
I would also let a DIY setup for fixed foveated to optimise specific games. input delay and motion to photon is somthings to take seriously
