AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution¹ (AMD FSR) is our cutting-edge upscaling technology originally released in 2021 and updated to AMD FSR 2 last year. Since then, the number of available and upcoming games that support FSR has grown rapidly to over 300 games!

In addition to bringing AMD FSR to more and more games — we’ve also been working hard to bring you the next generation of the technology, AMD FSR 3! It uses a combination of super resolution temporal upscaling technology and frame generation to deliver massive framerates in supported games.

We are excited today to give you a first look at FSR 3 in one of the games expected to add support, Forspoken by Square Enix. And what’s more, it’s coming out sooner than you think with the first game updates planned for early fall in Forspoken and Immortals of Aveum by Ascendant Studios and Electronic Arts.
