I moved from 1st gen Ryzen 1600X to 3rd gen Ryzen 3700X. I have problem with stability Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance. After some time the game freeze out for 1-2 seconds. All others applications works without any problem. The same problem if I fix clocks in stocks, if I set auto. I didn't have it before on my R5 1600X. Why I think that this is processor problems. I set my processor clock a bit lower turbo boost for all cores, for me 4,2 ( I set 4,125) and I fix CPU voltage on 1,215. Because automatically mobo set completely random voltage, and one time I have 4,2GHz on all cores with voltage 1,17V another time I have 3,95GHz with voltage 1,5V. Results are completely random, no any systematics. After one - two days working with selected parameters game became more stable, but when I change what ever in CPU settings it starts terribly freezing again. Set the parameters back doesn't help. I have last AMD driver pack. I hope with new BIOSes the problem will be fixed.
