so i got thermal paste on my cpu pins from the person i got it from and i could't get it off so i put it in the system and ran it seems to work fine but i took it out and tryed to clean it but won't come off so then i seen it was in my cpu socked on the board so i'm wondering how to fix this issue and would it effect performace?
Generally, thermal pastes do not have electrical conductivity. For this reason, I think you will not have a problem. In addition, your situation does not affect performance. While cleaning the thermal paste, you may also damage the motherboard or the CPU PINs.
So i should just leave it go ?
Yes, it looks clean enough already.
Okay thank you
