RX 6700 XT 'Nashira Summit' (6GB) – Looking for Official Specs & Support

Hello everyone,

I recently acquired an RX 6700 XT labeled as 'Nashira Summit' with 6GB of VRAM, and I’m trying to gather more information about this card.

  • It appears to be different from the standard 12GB RX 6700 XT, and I couldn't find official documentation on it.
  • GPU-Z and HWiNFO detect it as a 6700 XT, but the memory is reported as 6GB instead of 12GB.
  • Performance-wise, it seems to perform slightly better in some cases compared to the standard 6700 XT, which is unexpected.

I have a few questions for anyone who might be familiar with this model:

  1. Is this an official AMD variant, an OEM-only card, or possibly a pre-production model?
  2. Are there official AMD drivers that fully support this model, or should I expect potential compatibility issues?
  3. Does this card actually have 12GB VRAM but with a locked configuration?
  4. Is there any AMD documentation, or has anyone seen this card used in specific markets (OEMs, pre-built systems, etc.)?

Any insights from the community or AMD reps would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Thank you!

Someone posted on Facebook marketplace at one time:

"It is a rare developer card by amd, only a few of these were made, it comes with 6gb vram and it is slightly more powerful than a normal 6700xt "

Not sure on any truth as it was being advertised for sale.

Everything I see is from the beginning 2021,and that's it.

Well, I bought the card from one of the Marketplace listings. The card is detected as Nashira Summit.

Yeah, that is all the info I found as well.

Unfortunately there is no info from AMD officials on this card yet.
