RX 6600 Restarts my pc after shutdown / sleep

Hi,

I recently got a RX 6600 and i have this issue where after i shutdown or put my pc to sleep, it just wake up, like if someone was pressing the power button.

Kind of strange at first but after some research, windows reinstall, bios update and everything imaginable i just got out my 6600 and tried with my processor alone, and it worked fine, i came to the conclusion that my rx6600 makes my pc start/wake up completely alone.

Do someone have any kind of solution to this ?

The graphic card is working just fine if you ask, i can play every single game perfectly fine no bluescreen/crashes/overheating.

Sorry for my english i am french i tried to be as clear as possible.

My 6700XT and 7900XT both did this. There was one driver version, may have been 22.11.1 that worked, otherwise I have to turn off the monitor or it comes out of sleep. Still preferable to not coming out of sleep, that was a whole other headache.

I had a similar issue when rendering product videos in Blender my PC would shut down right before reaching 100% GPU usage, usually around 90% completion.

There are a couple of bios wake-on options. One of them is LAN. I turn all those sorts of things off. I really doubt it that it is the GPU waking the computer.

Also, waking from sleep and starting from shutdown are two completely different things. I think your windows might be configured to always sleep. Look for the "Choose what the power buttons do" in power options.

Thanks for the reply but these are the most basic answers possible, of course in my bios every wake up option are totally forced to be disable.

And even if turning down the pc and putting it to sleep are two different things it"s still restarting/getting out of sleep every single time

I am looking for a technical answer about what could cause this.
Thanks

There are different levels and simply saying "wake up" doesn't clarify it enough. There is hibernation, sleep, and then powered off. USB devices can wake the PC. Even some processes can be configured to wake a PC. No one can give you more than basic answers because your info is generic and the problem is basic.

Look through the windows event log and look for what woke your PC.
