I've put together a brand new build a few days ago and I'm worried about the 6950 XT reaching up to 115 degrees Celsius. It doesn't happen often, so far I've only encountered it in Star Citizen in its cities, most often in Orison. This is happening despite the GPU being undervolted and being installed in a case with great airflow, Fractal Design Torrent, with Noctua A14-PWM as exhaust fan.
Picture below of the undervolting numbers, or if it can't be seen, it's being set at:
Max frequency: 2600
Voltage: 1100 (-100 from default)
Power Tuning: -5%
Aggressive fan curve
I've done my research and read that AMD GPUs run hot, but this seems to be too much.
I would like to ask if there is anything else I can try, and if opening the GPU to repaste it would be of any help, or would it void my warranty?
