Hello,
I recently (yesterday) bought a AMD Radeon RX 6950XT to replace my old GTX 1080. The problem I am facing now is that my GPU is using 99% of his performances while I am doing nothing. It's impossible to do anything on the desktop or any applications/games because it looks like it's performing at 2 fps. But I found a temporary solution, it is weird but when I open the Task Manager, the GPU usage goes back to normal, like 1% on desktop and I can play my videogames and do whatever I want but without the task manager, the pc becomes unusable. Can anybody help me identify this problem ? Is it a material problem ? Software ? I don't understand.
What I tried until now is written below
- Uninstall and Reinstall drivers (23.5.2)
- Uninstall and Install old drivers (22.5.1)
- Uninstall and Reinstall drivers on another SSD (not the one with the OS)
- Uninstall and Install only the drivers
- Check Materials if something moved on the motherboard or wasn't well connected
I am out of idea and I am not an expert on pc so I hope you will be able to help me. Thanks for reading !
