Dual-GPU setup (APU + GPU) setup dont work. (RX50 + Ryzen7 7800X3D)

Hi,

I have a Ryzen 7k with a Integrated GPU.

And a RTX 580 dedicated GPU (with 8GB RAM).

Windows setting is:

Energy-saving: APU.
Full-Power: RX580.

But if i Start a Programm with the GPU, its only a white window, and it crashes.

Some help maybe?

(i have tried to attach the dxdiag output, but i cant write more than 35k letters)

Here are a few things you can try:

  1. Make sure that your RX580 is properly seated in the PCIe slot.
  2. Try reseating it to make sure that it is making good contact with the motherboard.
  3. Update your graphics drivers.
  4. Go to the AMD website and download the latest drivers for your RX580.
  5. Try disabling the integrated graphics in your BIOS.
  6. To do this, enter your BIOS setup and look for a setting called "iGPU Multi-Monitor" or "Integrated Graphics". Set this setting to "Disabled".
  7. Try using a different PCIe slot for your RX580.
  8. If you have multiple PCIe slots available, try using a different one to see if that resolves the issue.
  9. Try reinstalling Windows.
  10. This may be a last resort, but it can sometimes fix problems with dual-GPU setups.

If you have tried all of the above and you are still having problems, you may need to contact AMD support for further assistance.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind:

  • Make sure that the program you are trying to start is compatible with dual-GPU setups.
  • Not all programs support this feature.
  • Try disabling any overclocks that you have applied to your CPU or GPU.
  • Try running the program in compatibility mode for an older version of Windows.

If i Use the RX580 as Primary GPU + "Work-GPU" it works like a Charm.
If i use the Integrated GPU as Primary GPU +"Work GPU" It works too (low FPS, but thats not a surprice)

But If use the Integrated GPU as Primary GPU, and the RTX580 as "Work GPU" -> Crash.

No Overcklocking at all (neither on CPU, GPU and RAM -and no underclocking too)
