As of today, my GPU has developed horrible coil whine, I have never heard it this loud. Had the card about 4 months and it's never been this bad. Updated all drivers and no changes

Guess you'll be contacting Asus about rma/repair/replace.

Agree with Goodplay, There is not much you can do with coil whine except RMA if it still under Warranty.

There are some fixes that lessens the noise but doesn't really fix coil whine. Coil Whine is due to Power generation in the GPU card. This basically affects any high powered hardware like GPU and PSU in particular.

Forgot about the PSU possiblility.

OP could check that before sending card away.

check and tighten all the screws on your video card, usually that can fix the vibration problem
