7900XT RMA? Help...

Hello everyone, I just received my RX 7900XT the other day and when unboxing it I had noticed the backplate had a very faint what seems to been scuffs on it. It is hard to see but definitely there, I had tried to wipe it away with a microfiber cloth but to no avail it wouldn't come off. It seems as if it were dragged against something almost but I have no idea. Along with that the actual metal bracket I noticed was bent where it sits in the case (the two prongs at the end). This made it very hard to get the card seated into the system. I was just curious but should I RMA the card to get another one? I feel that spending upwards of $900 on a single component it should pretty much be perfect but that is just me. Anyone agree or disagree? Thanks for the input.

Sounds like it got damaged (dropped) either during shipment or when being packed at the factory.

If the GPU has bent brackets and it is difficult to install in the Motherboard's PCIe Slot and screw down to the PC case I would RMA it.

I would take photos of all the damage and package it came in if it looked like it was also damaged as proof.

I would open a ticket to the retailer to return it and have it replaced with another one. If bought directly from AMD STORE then open a AMD Warranty Ticket from here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/warranty-information/rma-form

Note: AMD Warranty starts when the Retailer's Return date or its own Warranty expires first.
