Hello everyone, I have some what of a frustrating issue with my video driver. After making sure I turned off Windows drivers and turning off the permission to allow Windows to install drivers, it seems Windows still does it, and overriding the current AMD driver, thus causing Adrenalin to no longer function with the error:
"The version of AMD software that you have launched is not compatible with your current installed AMD graphics driver.
For information on how to resolve this, please go to amd etc"
The first time this happened I reinstalled the driver. Seemed to be ok. But for some reason, the screen saver causes Windows to install this driver??? Very annoying.
I should mention, it is installing a new driver for the onboard graphics card, which happens to be AMD because I have an AMD chip. Do I disable that card?
If anyone has a fix for this. I would appreciate it. Thank you.
