.....and Adrenalin doesn't recognized it as a game separate from Mechwarrior 5 Mercenaries.

Flipping switches in game or adrenalin seems to have no effect on game or graphics behavior.

Have you tried adding the game manually to the Adrenalin software and the game executable?

Forgot it was possible. Never had to add a game before, and now the first time trying, get a stranger error, as I'm not trying to run the exe, just pointing adrenalin to it.

BTW I have the same mobo as you.

Never seen that before when adding games. It's odd to say the least. Have you tried running the game and using task manager to track down what game file is running, or is this the result of that?
