[24.9.1] Final Fantasy XVI driver timeout - RX 7900XT

I would like to report an issue with this game with the latest driver.

 

How to reproduce : At the beginning of the game, during the quest "Louder than Words" at the step "Make for Lostwing" simply reach the objective and a cutscene will start.

The game will crash during the transition of game > cutscene. Weird artifacts will appear.

 

Anyway the game works fine and were able to pass the cutscene without even skipping when i rollbacked to 24.8.1 so it definitely is linked to the latest driver.

Hello.

I wanted to post more details on the issue because i am currently on NG+ and was going to reach the area which caused the driver timeout.

But AMD released the 24.10.1 update and so did the developer of the game.

 

Don't know which one solved it but, in case you guys did something:
