I been looking around and haven't seen anyone else with this problem. Everything else seems to  fine with the new driver except Steam VR. I have a 6700 XT

I am having the same issue. Using an AMD Radeon 6950 XT.

I have reverted to version 24.5.1 since that is the last version I used for VR and it is working.

Yeah, I had to revert back 24.7.1, I tried support ticket with AMD but they weren't much help.

SteamVR is still broken with 24.9.1 (I'm using a Valve Index). Now it doesn't crash and reboot, but instead causes Windows to completely freeze, not even responding to a power button press. I didn't check if changing my Index to 120 hz works with 24.9.1, because I went back to 24.7.1.

Tried 24.10.1, because the release notes say that the crash happens only on first launch. Thats not true and the crash is still happening every time SteamVR is launched with Valve Index set to 144hz. Sucks to be stuck on 24.7.1, because I have some games that are affected by extreme CPU bottlenecks in the driver and I want to try DXVK which tends to need the latest Vulkan extensions.
