Hi guys, recently I wanted to download the drivers from the Armoury Crate software, I managed to install almost everything except the drivers for the AMD Chipset and I got this message " Error 1720. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A script required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Custom action GetDeviceId script error -2147024894, WshShell.Re... "
I am really not competent to solve this kind of problem that's why I ask for your help please
My PC specs
- Ryzen 7 7800x3D
- Asus ROG Strix B650E-F Gaming WIFI II
- RTX 4070
- Asus ROG Strix 850W Gold Aura Edition
You would need to contact asus support or post on their forum for help with their specific chipset driver.
That version is most probably modified from a regular version supplied by amd.
You can try the AMD driver instead of the ASUS provided one.
The AMD version is newer anyway, 6.07.22.037

Hi, I downloaded the file but unfortunately I have this message
" Unable to install AMD chipset drivers
The system configuration is not compatible with installing RAID drivers or applications "
and " A system update is required to complete the installation "
Seems there could be several reasons for the error. You could try some of the workarounds suggested in this Reddit post.
