How can I change my amd software to stop changing my power plan?

I have my Max processor state set to 85, because other wise my CPU overheats.

But everytime I start a game, the AMD software changes it back to 100. I know its the software because, when I install it it stays at 85.

Kinda annoying, so how can I stop this?

Very little information to help. 

Is it a laptop or desktop. 

Gaming at 100C? Do you have any obstructions if it is a laptop. Or getting a cool pad to help.

Maybe limiting fps with adrenalin for that game? 

If it is a desktop you can set a thermal limit or get beefier cooling.

its a desktop. the cpu temp can reach at 80 to 90 if max processor is set to 100.
