My AMD drivers keep crashing and the adrenalin software will not open
whenever i install the drivers it will say something along the lines of "AMD drivers have failed to load correctly on this system"
whenever i try to open software this is the error i receive
I am running
Windows 10
ryzen 5 3600XT
Radeon rx590 GPU
16GB ddr4-3600 ram
B550M Aorus pro mobo
500w EVGA PSU
250gb SSD
1tb HDD
PSU, and Drives are ~7 years old; CPU, GPU, and mobo are only ~1.5 years old
so far I have tried:
-reinstalling drivers with factory reset setting enabled + C:/amd folder emptied(including chipset drivers)
-reinstalling older versions of drivers (22.5.1, current ver. 22.5.2)
-factory resetting main SSD
-unplugging and plugging back in GPU (wanted to try another PCI slot but didn't have the space to do so in my case)
-run windows memory diagnostic tool without errors
-underclock GPU ( was unable to underclock, can't do it in adrenalin and msi afterburner detected the GPU but didn't show any editable options)
when I run a GPU stress test these are the results
idle temp seems fine and since the test doesn't go anywhere I can't check for any cooling issues while under stress
PSU voltages are within tolerances
PSU power seems very erratic
this post https://community.amd.com/t5/drivers-software/driver-persistently-crashing-of-radeon-rx-590-need-hel... has been basically my guide, but I don't have any older components or a different rig to test my parts in, OP here says they were only able to solve the problem after replacing the mobo
I have the budget to get some components but not enough for a whole new rig so even if the solution that would result in the best performance is replacing 1 or 2 components I would love any advice you all here could give
Thanks for any and all help
