7900XT Black Screen

The past couple of weeks, I've been experiencing multiple crashes while streaming on OBS and playing games like Lies of P, Warzone, and The Last of Us Part I. The issue has only gotten worse (I think) in the last week. Here's what happens:

  1. My screen freezes while I'm gaming and streaming.
  2. The screen goes black for about 15 seconds.
  3. After that, I get sent back to the desktop, where OBS has crashed along with the game I was playing.

I’m currently using the latest driver (24.9.1), and I’ve already tried updating my BIOS and chipset drivers, but neither of these steps has fixed the issue. Does anyone know a fix or has an idea where the problem might be coming from? I've never had this issue before.

Specs:

Your best bet is to downgrade to 24.8.1 and the crashes go away at least for me when I was trying to play and stream wow.

Welcome to the club, @Schavuit!

The good news is that you are not the only one experiencing this issue and the bad news is that AMD obviously has no clue how to fix this. For more information check the following threads:
