I am currently running the brand new 7900 XTX with the latest 22.12.2 driver and I cannot get modern warfare 2 to run stable. It either keeps on crashing where the screen turns black and there is a sound loop or the amd driver gives an timeout window after an random amount of playtime. I have searched this forum, other forums, the internet in general and I am at a loss. I tried the following things:

• Turn of XMP profile
• Switched XMP profile
• Disabled MPO following this nvidia guide https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5157
• Reinstalled the adrenaline software
• Removed adrenaline and only installed the driver
• Reinstalled windows

What am I doing wrong? What should I be doing? My frustrations are at an all time high considering the fact that this happens the first time I buy an AMD card. 

My system information:
Intel 13600k
Gigabyte Z690 AORUS ELITE DDR4 (rev. 1.x)
HyperX FURY Beast 32 GB KF437C19BB1K2/32 (listed as supported ram for my mb)
Corsair RM850x psu 

I did not overclock the card and I am purely using the "default" setting with the adrenaline software suite

I just have the same problem. I have 6800 and I regret it. There always black screens flickerings timeouts etc.

If you could also provide a picture showing the internals of your system chassis that would be helpful.

Try disable FreeSync (or Adaptive-Sync)?
