Good morning fellas,

I'm experiencing an annoying problem with the new updates. It has started with the new year (2024), when I have update the driver my pc start to freeze after several second from the start. I can still move the mouse but every apps in the background stop to work (e.g. Discord) and I can't open a folder or an image. I have tried to;

- uninstall with DDU

- install only the driver with a clean installation

Ofc when I have uninstalled the driver, everything worked fine. 

P.S: I'm not able to assign the correct board to this post (can't see the board to click, exept for the gaming one). Can any mod put it on the right topic?

You should try installing the latest Adrenalin driver (24.9.1), which is available for your RX 6600 XT video card.  You can find it on the amd.com drivers and support page.  I moved your post from 'off-topic' to 'pc building'.
