No it shouldn't since it doesn't change any of your GPU's parameters like overclocking and is a Copy Protection feature of GPU cards.
If your GPU card is not under Warranty from AMD then you will need to contact your GPU's Manufacturer Warranty to find out. But it shouldn't void your Warranty anyways, in my opinion.
AMD warranties are normally voided if your Overclock, Customer Error, or use the wrong hardware to cool your CPU or damage from external sources like a insect shorting out the AMD hardware as an example.
Customer Error is if you damage the AMD hardware while removing or installing the hardware or your Overclock the hardware and it gets damaged or your electrically damage the hardware like if you shorted out the motherboard or AMD hardware.
The above is fairly common in most Warranties from other Manufacturers also. But you need to contact them to verify.
EDIT: When I mentioned it was a security feature, in the respect as @FunkZ mentioned being a copy protection feature, I used the wrong nomenclature. But corrected my reply since FunkZ was correct.
I did read that it was a Copy Protection feature which to me sounded like a security feature. but was incorrect.
