AMD ReLive HEVC not working

Hi, I am having an issue with the video encoding type: "HEVC". When I record something with this codec and finish the recording, the MB always stays at around 200MB, no thumbnail and none of my media players can play the file. 
AVC works fine most of the time for me, except that I get random pixelation issues in some (not all) of the videos I record, which is why I initially wanted to try HEVC instead, to see if I no longer get that issue. 

My graphics card is: Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB
And I am on driver version: 22.5.1 (the latest version as of typing this.)

If anyone could help me get this issue fixed, I'd greatly appreciate it.

The last driver version that HVEC works is 21.10.2, after that version AMD drivers crash as soon as the encoding starts working, I've been waiting for an update to fix this for months. I use Virtual Desktop Stream a lot for VR and the HVEC codec is essential for good stream stability on my Quest2, unfortunately I don't know how long this issue will continue, meanwhile I remain on version 21.10.2.
