25/04/2024 Helldivers 2 the crashes continue

as written in the title, I own a build of this type: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Asur ROG STRIX X670E-E GAMING, Corsair Vengeance DDR5 da 2x16gb (32G), Sepphire NITRO+ AMD Radeon RX 7900XTX 24G I recently bought Helldivers 2, and it's a great game, except that I'm having a major problems playing it. the application literally crashes every time I enter the game. I tried to do everything, follow every type of advice I found on the web from people who have the same problem, and there are still so many of us now. my drivers are correctly updated to version 24.3.1, I also formatted and reinstalled the updated drivers downloaded from the AMD website with the appropriate auto detector. I can't find any solution, and I'm wondering if AMD is working on this type of problem and if it intends to fix it given all the money I spent to be able to get the best from the red house, and not being able to enjoy every game I want.

It's looking like it's up to us the customers to figure this out. Helldivers has a lot of different issues, yours sounds worse than mine. But at least I can run it, you've got it much worse and that would drive me insane.

I get the freeze-on -exit crash, where if I try to quit the game normally it locks up but if I ALT+F4 it will quit as expected.

I'm not the only one either: https://steamcommunity.com/app/553850/discussions/1/4339851480049706181/

When I first got the game it didn't do this, and I was on Adrenalin 23.11.1, so a few days ago I thought I'd update in case that's what the game needed, but it didn't make any difference at all.  So I think my issue is the devs fault, not AMD.  My problems started around the beginning of May when an update came out.

I have a very similar build to you, a 7800X3D, 7900XT, and an ASUS ROG Strix B650E-E Wifi m/b and 32GB of ram (2x16 GSkill 6000 kit).

I\ve been playing Helldivers 2 for a month or so now and have only had one crash/hang, and that was on when exiting the game. One thing I have done which I do not know how many people do the same, is to disable Steams overlay option. I recall reading somewhere quite some time ago that having it enabled can cause issues. Whether this is specific to AMD drivers or generally I do not know, but it may be worth looking into to in your case.

I also have the In Game overlay for the AMD drivers disabled as well as Web browser (in AMD Prefs)

I am currently running

- Adrenalin Video 24.5.1
- AMD Chipset drivers 6.02.07.2300 (13th Mar 2024)
- ASUS B650E-E Bios 1813

Best of luck

Craig
