My games have been experiencing some massive stuttering and while trying to update my cpu im left with this error log.

I have a Asrock A320M-HDV R4.0 motherboard and a Ryzen 7 5800x. These should be compatible.

Updated my Chipset Drivers, Updated BIOS, not sure what the issue can be

Any help or ideas would be appreciated!

Per the StoreMI page - https://www.amd.com/en/technologies/store-mi

A fast and easy way to expand and accelerate the storage in a desktop PC with an AMD Ryzen™ processor, exclusively for select Socket AM4 and TR4, and sTR4, and sWRX8 motherboards.
(Supports AMD X570, PRO 565, B550, A520, 400 Series, X399, TRX40 or WRX80 chipsets only)

So the A320 chipset is not supported. Are you asking why? Or are you having some other issue?

I guess asking why, they should be supported together. It also says here https://pangoly.com/en/compatibility/asrock-a320m-hdv-r4-0/cpu that they are. This hasnt been a problem until recently and my pc has worked fine with the combo before this.

Yes, per ASRock the 5800X3D CPU is supported on the A320M-HDV using BIOS version R7.20 or later, are you running that BIOS version?

StoreMI is a storage feature that has nothing to do with whether the 5800X3D is supported on the A320 so it was confusing why that was mentioned?

Yes I updated to that BIOS version. I mention StoreMI as I need to update my CPU and cannot without it. Which is why I assume my games are stuttering like they are. I'm having an issue being able to properly update my CPU.

StoreMI is a storage feature that allows you to combine a SSD and HDD together for the increased capacity of a hard drive with the fast caching of a solid state drive. StoreMI is not supported on the A320 chipset, however that has nothing to do with your 5800X3D or updating your motherboard to support the CPU. As long as you have installed motherboard BIOS version R7.20 or newer that is all you need to support the 5800X3D, you do not need to install StoreMI.

Went to AMD Download page for your AMD Ryzen 7 5800X (https://www.amd.com/en/support/cpu/amd-ryzen-processors/amd-ryzen-7-desktop-processors/amd-ryzen-7-5...and clicked on the "Release Notes" for STOREMI: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/rn-storemi-win-2-1-0-218

Under Compatibility it doesn't show the 300 series Motherboard as being compatible. Only on the 400 and 500 Series Motherboards:

So your A320M motherboard is not compatible with STOREMI. You will need to upgrade to a 400 or 500 series Motherboard and Chipsets as @FunkZ  mentioned in a previous reply.

Pangoly is talking about the CPU being compatible with different hardware but not Storemi.
