I've tried to change the SimpleEncoder sample in the Media SDK 1.1 to write a larger video size. (Such an option is built in using ENABLE_4K, but I tried smaller sizes too, such as 2048x1080.) The result is encoder->Init returning AMF_ENCODER_NOT_PRESENT. I'm running on a Radeon R9 290X with Crimson drivers.

Is it possible to encode a video larger than 1920x1080 on this card, or any other card? If so, how?
