No samples on ubuntu (CodeAnalyst 3.3.18-public)

    pgrad

I've installed CodeAnalyst and set up new project. After clicking run and execution of application, i get the message:
      "Oprofile collected no samples.
      Suggestion:
      - Check the profiling duration
      - Check number of counts for events
      - Check "Start delay period" and "Start with the profiling paused" options"

duration is set to 40s, Delay is 0s, and profiling paused is disabled. I used the application from http://developer.amd.com/SiteCollectionImages/Articles/article_ca_appendix_B.html

I don't know if i should configure somehow the CodeAnalist before first use. If so, can you help me?

          Hi pgrad,

Thanks for using CodeAnalyst. What is the version of Ubuntu that you are working on?

Was it a tarbal install or Debian install?

CodeAnalyst team has released a new version yesterday. You can download it from the following link:

          http://developer.amd.com/tools/CodeAnalyst/codeanalystlinux/Pages/default.aspx

Please try with this build and check if the issue is still happening.

If it happens, please run "careport.sh" script present in "/opt/CodeAnalyst/bin" and attach the output file "careport.txt"?

          Thanks,

          Kalyan P
