Ryzen 5 3600 wont boot

So i just upgraded from Ryzen 3 1200 to Ryzen 5 3600 and its not working at all, fans from the case and cpu radiator are working but leds dont but, when i switched back to old cpu everything works just fine  i thought that could be bios but i got b450 A PRO MAX motherboard which is compatible with ryzen 5 3600,bios is updated to the latest version. With 5 3600 when i turn the pc on i got no signal to monitor also the fans on the graphics card are not working i tried to switch to single ram and it didnt change anything tried to re flash the bios and still nothing.CPU is fitted  correctly fitted and all the cables are fine too so i dont know is it something wrong with my pc or just the cpu is bad.

MY PC specs:

Ryzen 5 3600

RX 6600

Motherboard:MSI  B450M A PRO MAX

Kingston Fury Beast, DDR4, 16 GB, 3200MHz, CL16 (i also switched to other ram 2666Mhz and it didnt help either)

The MSI B450-A PRO MAX has support for the Ryzen 5 3600 since BIOS version M0 which was the very first release in 2019, so you are correct in that it should work out of the box.

One thing to check is if you have a 4+4pin or 8pin CPU/EPS power connector plugged into the motherboard. A Ryzen 3 1200 may not draw enough power to need it but the Ryzen 5 3600 does.

Only other suggestion is to unplug the system from AC power and remove the CMOS battery from the board, leave it out for a few minutes then reinstall and plug it back in and see if that makes any difference.

Check for bent pins.

Have you tried a clear cmos when swapping the CPUs? Where did you get that 3600 from?

Szarraks, if it will boot into BIOS, do a fresh install of Windows after formatting the C: disk as a GPT. John.
