hellom i have a lenovo s340 with ryzen 7 3400u,2,3ghz and wat to turbo boost it near 4 ghz, if i do it with the ryzen supported download it says : does not support the current proccesor What can i do?
Try Clock Tuner for Ryzen 2.0. If even this doesn't recognize your CPU, your luck ran out.
Any AMD software, like Ryzen Master, that is able to Over/Under clock a processor will be incompatible with laptops.
You need to use a 3rd party software to do that. I believe there is a Ryzen Master type software at GitHub for laptops.
But I highly suggest you don't mess with the processor or any hardware by overclocking or underclocking since laptops are engineered for a specific temperature and power usage. Changing the Processors parameters can cause your laptop to overheat or have power issues and end up damaging your laptop which will void your laptop's Warranty if it still is active.
1. its a bad idea
2. RyzenMaster doest not work on mobile APUs
3. you can "lift up" the TDP with RyzenAdj - BE CAREFUL AND WATCH TEMPS! most Laptops cant handle to much power of the CPU - because they are NOT DESIGNED TO!
ps i can run my R5 2500U at 45W (normal is 25W) - because my Acer Nitro 5 An515-42 has GOOD COOLING; some one with a lower cooling can maybe get 30W stable
pps YOU WILL LOSE WARRANTY IF YOU FRY YOUR LAPTOP!
