Hi,
Been having this issue somewhat infrequently. This has seemingly occurred since updating my BIOS on the ASUS ROG Strix X570-E Gaming to 4602 and enabling Smart Access Memory.
Only hardware change was an upgrade to a Sapphire 7900XTX about a month prior to first instance of the error.
Computer is restarting when going to sleep. Seemingly no BSOD or crash recovery, just boots back to login screen. Errors in Event Viewer below:
A fatal hardware error has occurred.
Reported by component: Processor Core
Error Source: Machine Check Exception
Error Type: Cache Hierarchy Error
Processor APIC ID: 2
The details view of this entry contains further information.
ID changes each reboot, seemingly non consistent.
DXDiag pastebin is here.
Other people with this issue seem to report crashing whilst in game, yet mine are purely when entering sleep. Essentially asking if anyone else has had a problem with this BIOS iteration or Smart Access Memory.
I have not RMA'd any hardware, I live quite rurally so ideally would like to avoid that before I'm sure on what piece of hardware lest I be out of a PC for weeks. Though it seems unlikely to be a hardware issue with the timeline I have observed.
Cheers.
