LAPTOP RUNNIN' SLOW AFTER BEING UNPLUGGED!

Hi, i am facing an issue that whenever i unplug my charger , my cpu's clockspeed reduces to 0.37ghz and becomes normal after some seconds.Tried changing power management settings , changed powerscheme , updated bios , resetted windows tried ubuntu, asked in hp forums too but nothin worked pls help!

Computers often have different power consumption modes. When you disconnect the charging cable, your laptop likely goes into a power saving mode. One of the things that this often does is actually throttle back the CPU to save energy. You can change this in your system setup at a loss of some battery life, try setting your power options to High Performance or AMD Ryzen Balanced.

Also, it might be a ram issue which needs diagnosing.

There are Windows settings which determine how fast computer runs when plugged in or unplugged. Transition when you unplug machine sounds normal.
