I have an HP laptop and I am trying to find the motherboard serial number, I have contacted HP an they do not have a number for the hardware sales department so I am asking you for help. I have been on you tube and I just can't get a clear answer. I want to make sure the parts I get are compatible with this hard drive, I have an HP14Cq0013dx with an AMD Athlon Silver 3050U and I want to upgrade but I can't seem to find the proper information to know the max RAM and which processors are compatible
I don't see anything for that model number, but I did find the HP14fq0013dx. Since it has the same processor, the memory controller will be identical. Looks like it supports up to 2X8GB 2400 DDR4.
