Any possibility of a 4c8t highly clocked cpu as a 9600k alternative?

Based on the Ryzen 3000 benchmarks out it would seem a 4c8t processor with 4.2 base 4.7 boost would crush Intel on the gaming front and give dedicated gaming rigs an alternative to the I5 X600k chip.

AMD wants "MORE CORES xD" = 4C/8T is so last decade
6C/12T is what will be minimium in 3-4 years - and AMD is usually first on this front
