AMD FX-8370E AVX Support

Yesterday i bought a software that needs my CPU to have AVX support. And AMD says my cpu supports AVX. But after some analyzing with the developer of the software that i bought, he found out that my CPU dosent support AVX. It only works with SSE so where is my cpu with AVX support that i payed for?

Your FX Processor does support AVX. From CPU World showing all the Extensions and Technologies your FX supports: http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Bulldozer/AMD-FX-Series%20FX-8370E.html 

The problem is not the Processor but either the software itself that you are using or you need to activate or configure a setting in Windows or BIOS.

I read that on some motherboards AVX can be disabled. Not sure if that is valid or not.
