Trying to overclock 7800x3d, the boost clock override in the bios does nothing, and the cpu wont boost above 5050 mhz. I've seen it overclocked on youtube, but this was done with eclk, is there any other way to gain frequency with this cpu? or is it 100% locked down.

Multiplier is locked, some oc with pbo & co, check some OC forums (overclockers.uk, overclock.net are a couple to start) to see what can be achieved.

so it absolutely will not go above 5050mhz because amd locked it?

I've heard that BCLK is OCable.
I don't know either.
I can't find the BIOS entry.

Please help!
