5900X RAM

Hello AMD guys,

I have now 5900X with X570 Aorus Master, Corsair Vengeance Pro 3200 CL14, XMP enabled, F35 BIOS. Before was 3900X. Now i want an upgrade to 4x16 3600. Having all internal and external components Corsair, i want my ram to be the same, and 4 sticks because the RGB is awesome thru the glass panel. So, i found on mb qvl list this thing:

https://www.corsair.com/ww/en/p/memory/cmt64gx4m4z3600c16/dominatora-platinum-rgb-64gb-4-x-16gb-ddr4...

DS, dimm sockets tested: 2 and 4, timing 16-18-18-36 1.35V. (they say chip is Samsung, but i have doubts; sound like Micron).

Next, i click on https://www.amd.com/en/processors/ryzen-compatible-memory but i didn't see that kind of RAM listed there. Secondary, G.Skill is an option (same 4x16), because they have Samsung B-die and good timings. I found on amd processor compatibility list https://www.gskill.com/product/165/326/1562839857/F4-3600C16Q-64GTZN but surpise again, can't find them on mb qvl.

Is annoying to find a product on mb qvl list and not in amd compatibility memory and vice versa.

1. What should i trust?

2. Is 4 dimms to be a problem for the controller?

3. Is Samsung B-die chip best of choice? Should i choose sticks with this chip?

4. Mention that i will stop on 3600, with XMP without manual overclock

Thanks in advance,

Best wishes!

Hi,
Always do this in the board vendor page.

The part number of Corsair website matches the QVL for your board.

Good Luck

Ok. But what about memory socket support? This is 4 dimm kit, and at the "4" column is blank. Only 1 and 2 is marked. I have rev 1.0 and 1.2 revision seems to bring nice updates to RAM support.

I looked it again and I may have paste the wrong picture, here you go.

It has 4 socket support but sometimes its best for you to look it up too

No, first time you post the right picture, for X570 Aorus Master rev 1.0. Second is for X570 Aorus Master rev 1.1, 1.2, wich has better ram control optimization. In my case, rev 1.0, this 4x16 kit did not passed using all sticks same time. Only 2 of them. I'm wondering if Gigabyte update the list. Don't now what to do... If i buy it, i'm a little bit scarred about to much stress from memory controller.
