Why Disabling 2 cores on a Ryzen 5 3600 fixes the game crashing and bluescreen crashing?

So I have this problem where my game or a program randomly crashes on it own.
Also sometimes bluescreen !!

Today I read something here. It was about disabling 2 cores
So I did it on my 6 cores Ryzen 5 3600...
And Guess What...I can Finally Play Ori and The Will of The Wisps for aslong as I want LOL
Previously max 10 min. !!! Sometimes even after 1 minute, crash.

My question. How is this possible? And why do I have to disable 2 cores in the BIOS !!
To fix this issue !

EDIT: Its not about Ori and The Will Of The Wisps, I had the same problem in every game I played. Also I make music in FL STUDIO. That also crashes after a while. Even rendering a 300 mb video will result sometimes in a crash.
Disabling 2 cores. FIXED ALL OF THAT

Could be a lot of things.... It is just that you might be attributing it to the disabling of the cores.

Sounds like you adjusted a secondary parameter and affected a primary parameter.

Shutting down 2 cores reduces Heat. Was Heat the issue?

Shutting down 2 cores reduces current draw.   Was Current the issue?

Reducing the number of active cores gives the system an opportunity to chase higher frequencies for the fewer active cores.  Thus it may boost voltage to chase those frequencies.   A higher voltage might have settled things.  Was Power the Issue?

I feel that at the base of your problem is the interplay of Temp/Frequency/Power/Current

By shutting off 2 cores you adjusted other parameters that will now work for you.

Be Happy you now have settings that work for you.

But I believe you can find settings that will work and give you all the cores you paid for.

some gold core need to be positve in curve optimiser..... it was silicon loterry..... if using pbo2 you are boosting more higher core speed and need tweak for stability.......

core cycler is a good tool to test all boost stability...........

disable pbo2 is another option and i don't think you need to disable 2 core for stable...........

Well the thing is I never overclocked it. Its all stock. But I have a very good fan on it. And I am not boosting anything not even my gpu.
But I will try disabling pbo2. Let you know !

Aright It seems that pbo is by default set to auto. I enabled it. and enabled all 6 cores. Then after 5 min of gaming boem crash. No bluescreen but game crashed.

Also it seems that by default auto = disabled. ?
So what can I do now? Change the cpu voltage?
Could you help me with that? Because there are so much settings.
There is also cpu offset?  I got the msi gaming plus x570.
