Since I bought my Threadripper 2970WX, all my VirtualBox VMs (virtual machines) are now exceedingly slow.
Needless to say, 2970WX has so many cores, that can really help with virtual machines.
But no, they just don't work. If I try VMWare, the virtual machines work much better.
So what's the issue with VirtualBox and Threadripper 2970WX ?
I tried to disable the CPU options in VBox, and also using a small number of cores like 6 (out of 24 cores / 48 threads), but nothing changes, the VMs are still too slow.
I have Windows 10 and I keep it up-to-date
