I am doing some microbenchmarks on the R9 FURY X and the 5700XT GPUs and want to time a specific section of assembly instructions. The ISA manuals of GCN3 and RDNA architecture, described the s_memrealtime instruction as "This instruction reads a 64-bit "real time-counter" and returns the value into a pair of SGPRS: SDST and SDST+1. The time value is from a clock for which the frequency is constant (not affected by power modes or core clock frequency changes).", but never specify the frequency of this "real-time clock". Does anyone know the frequency of the real-time clock on the two GPU? Thanks!
