Tell me please. In the AID64 test under maximum load with CPU and FPU enabled, the temperature from 75C to 86C jumps. The average is about 78-80. This is normal for this stone, or something is wrong with it. If the FPU tick off, then the temperature is kept from 58C to 65C. The cooling system is DeepCool captain 240ex
robacool, there are many post here on your subject. Here are your processor specifications:
Please DL, install and run the latest Ryzen Master (RM) and post a screenshot. RM is the AMD reference for temperature. AIDA 'CPU Diode' should be the same as RM. Please tell us something about your FPU (Floating Point Unit). Thanks and enjoy, John.
after 2-3 hours of work in the regular mode (without games, rendering and stress tests)
after 30-40 minutes of testing in the renderer
robacool, looks good to me. 75C is OK (limit is 85). Your CPU is slowed a little probably due to very high EDC. Enjoy, John.
I do not really know what EDC is, what I can do to reduce it and it did not slow down my computer
I really do not either, robacool. Google gets lots of hits on it and I suggest you spend some time reading. As near as I can tell RM is reporting that the current supplied by the VRM is right at the limit of the VMR. I do know that Precision Boost uses this information to reduce the load on the VRM to prevent sagging core voltage. I do not know what can be done about that. As I understand it (not well) the only real cure is to get an MB with a beefier VRM - sure you do not want to hear this. I suggest you open a Support request with your MB vendor (whoever that is) and ask them what to do. I would like to know what your FPU is. Thanks and enjoy, John.
