I overclocked my Phenom 2 940 BE to 3.4ghz and I just bought a Corsair h60 aio and ran occt for 3 minutes and it topped out at 50°C. Is that a "good" temperature? In hardware info it says the cpu is volted to 1.4V's.

The maximum temperature for the Phenom II CPUs are 62C, so you're good.

Okay, that makes me feel at ease.
Something to be aware of though, the Phenom II x4 940 is only about half as fast as AMD's current, low end chip line (Athlon 200 series excluded), and well under half as fast as the current, high end chip line. Is time to think about an upgrade.
I am disabled, so yeah I am going to wait until ryzen 2 series (not ryzen + )to come out to get a good deal on a 2600 ryzen.
Well current leaks put Zen 2 a good 20% ahead of Zen+, may be worth investing in them instead of Zen+.
