Ryzen master doesn't support h55 processor like 7945hx

ryzen master said it is not compatible with the processor 7945hx

7945hx is literally the same as 7950 and the CPU is running very hot and I think undervolting is necessary.

also, Asus already support pbo in the bios I guess amd need to add 7945hx to the supporting list

In fact it really supports. Lenovo Legion Pro 5i Series laptop using Ryzen R9 7945HX could optimize overclock settings using Legion Zone, which is Lenovo's official tuning utility of Legion Laptops. For Ryzen R9 7945HX, It uses bulit in Ryzen Master module to accomplish modification. No further detailed method of adjustment were revealed.

Ryzen Master is not supported on Mobile AMD Processors like laptop processors.  I believe this is to prevent Users from overclocking or under clocking the Mobile processors which can end up damaging the laptop since it might cause the laptop to run past its engineered thermal and power limits.

PBO in BIOS setting is AMD way to safely overclock your mobile processor within its Maximum operating range without causing your laptop to go past its thermal or power limits. Though your laptop might run hotter than average when enabled unless the Laptop manufacturer took that into account.

But there is a Laptop Lite clone of Ryzen Master called RYZEN CONTROLLER:

2- https://github.com/Ryzen-Controller-Team/Ryzen-Controller:

What's this?

  • It's a little Ryzen Master for laptops.
  • Works best on 2xxx and 3xxx Ryzen series (4xxx series is experimental)

Note: Download it from the first link GITLAB which I believe has the latest version of Ryzen Controller.

EDIT: It might still work on AMD MOBILE PROCESSORS that are newer than the 4000 Series mobile processors.
