Ryzen 9 5900x Core 0 not used

Hi,

I've noticed that my 5900x doesn't use core #0, even during benchmarks and gaming. Restarting the computer solves this issue, but it usually resurfaces within a couple of hours.

Does anyone have an idea why this is happening?

Thanks, Evan. Good job. All cores are fully employed and throttling due to the red meters at the top. Throttling is beginning due to temperature (yellow). Looks fine to me. John.

Badbird5907, please post a screenshot of Ryzen Master (RM) under same condition. John.

Badbird5907, I am not sure what screenshots you are showing. RM shows one core (12) in Sleep mode. This means one core (12) has no work assigned to it and is sleeping. I assume the right side screenshot is Windows Task Manager which often gives bad values for clock speeds (a core only value). To figure out what is really going on, post a screenshot of RM while Cinebench R23 is running multicore and show all of RM not cutting off or covering up parts of it. Do a Clear CMOS before running CB to remove doubt caused by your many changes. Only images of RM. John.

Hi John,

I've attached a screenshot of Ryzen Master during the issue in Cinebench. I also performed a CMOS reset (however, virtualization and XMP is enabled).

Please let me know if I should disable them as well.

Thanks for your help,
Evan
